Disney questions
I'm sure you see these a lot, but I haven't been in a while.
Best place to get tickets? Disney store or online? A friend can get through Working Advantage too. Want to see the best prices
Looking to book disney dining and everything is booked up. Any tips to get in a restaurant?
We are looking to get 7 day tickets instead of the park hopper bc it's cheaper the more days. Figured we can go later but we'll be there for 8 days.
Any tips or advise where to stay the most? Figured Magic Kingdom is good for 3 or 4 days, 1 day in Epcot, 1 in AK, and 1 in MGM.
Any other tips or advise. Getting there April 1 - 8

The kids are ages 8 - 5 (almost 9, 7 and 6)year olds. 2 girls and 2 boys.

I think 3-4 days at MK is a lot. We just got back a couple weeks ago and did 1 full day at Epcot, 1 full day at MK and a half day each at HS and AK. On the half days, we spent our afternoons in the hotel pool and did dinner at Disney Springs.
For dining, you just have to keep checking every day because people cancel all the time.
We priced out tickets through the Disney site and Undercover Tourist, and Disney came out to be cheaper.

ETA: Seaworld and Universal are close by if you wanted to cut back on your Disney days.

I say 2 days MK, 1 Epcot, 1 HS and 1 AK.
And see which parks you might want to go again too.
Also as far as restaurants, people cancel all the time so keep checking. I was able to get the restaurants I wanted by consistently checking. There's also some dining alerts that alert you when restaurants become available.

When we stay that long we do 3 days at MK, 1 AK, 2 Epcot, 1 HS. You can go at a leisurely pace and even do the extra things not in the parks. Like the Chip and Dale Campfire, dinner shows, petting farm, etc.
Pack your patience though because you are going Spring Break, and it's mobbed!

And since you are staying offsite, you can book your fastpasses at 30 days out instead of 60, so by then all the Pandora stuff will be gone just so you know. I would get your tickets before your 30 days out though so you can make them right at the 30 day mark.
Tickets at Work has the best prices for that long of a stay. Working Advantage is probably the same thing
Also a good group to join is Kenny the Pirate Crew on Facebook. Also like his page.

We bought 4 day tickets but it worked out cheaper because we ended up buying their special holiday package that included special magic bands.
When we stayed off site we bought through Undercover Tourist and it was definitely cheaper.

If it's spring break and crazy crowded, you might want the 3 or 4 days at MK. We spent 4 out of 8 days at MK and it was unexpectedly crowded. I ended up buying extra nights at the Christmas party because it felt like we got to see so little. It really depends on the crowds. I could easily do 2 days at Hollywood Studios too, even though some say it's half a day.
Check touring plans for their ticket cost calculator.
Just keep trying restaurants. We always had good luck the night before when people were hitting cancellation deadlines, but people do cancel all the time. We even ended up booking some same day.

I think your plans are good.
You are there on Spring break and it will be very crowded.
MK is great & see from there!
I used an online reservation system that was recommended on here. It was called mouse reservations or mouse dining or something like that. They text you when someone cancels. We got CRT and Be Our Guest within 2 weeks of our visit (also a popular week). Neither were so amazing, but if you gotta do it! Google. I only used my credit card on the Disney site.
I was a huge fan of BBBoutique in Disney Springs. It made our last trip! For that, you just keep calling.
I never do a park hopper. Did it once without kids and it felt like a waste of time if you are not there for long.
I always got tickets from Disney... but I didn’t research that angle much

I found the best ticket prices are at undercovertourist.com. I also checked through my Working Advantage- it was like $30 higher after taxes/fees.

One thing to note - if you want to buy tickets for 5 days and then decide you want 7, you can add to your ticket as long as there are days left on it.
The downside though is that you can't get fast passes for every day you are there.
