BCP Question

Not sure where else to post this-- so here goes. I am currently off the pill and plan to be for another month. I am only going off for about 2 months for medical reasons and NOT TTC. I am trying to track my days, and when I should start taking again though- and it's not easy.

I should have gotten my period this past week- and didn't. I have had cramps here and there-- which i used to get terribly before going on the pill-- but still no period. My cycle before going on the pill was about 35 days, but while on the pill it was of course 28. So right now I am in the middle of that.

So-- my question is-- how long after going off the pill did you get your period? Were you regular, did you go back to your old cycle -- did you wait more than a cycle to get your period??

the first month it took 43 days to get AF. after that, it took at least 6 months for me to have a "regular" schedule.

I just had to stop taking the pill for a couple of months also. I got my period 21 days into my cycle, which freaked me out because i always read on here how, AF goes MIA for awhile when you stop the pill. I cant wait to see when i get it this cycle.

this is my 4th cycle off the pill & i've gotten AF on day 33 or 34 each month. When i was on the pill i got it every 28 days.

This is my 2nd month off of it, the first month AF came at CD 26 which was a few days early.

CD= Cycle day (sorry)....counting from day 1 of your last AF

I got my period 28 days after, it was my first month off. I had it for 15 days!!! Definitely NOT normal.

Waiting for 2nd AF, if not PG this month.....should be here by 10/23, which would be 28 days again, or somewhat close.

I got my first period after the pill at 34 days. Then for the following three cycles, I got it on day 30. For me, thats regular. Amazingly enough, the OPK that DH finally conceded to me taking, had me ovulating at day 15 and/or 16. I'm glad it regulated fast enough for me.

I had one very short cycle, and then it regulated between 28 and 29 days.

Hey Randi,

Once I went off the pill, I got mine after 32 days. Its been pretty regular since. I know that it could take a while to come that first cycle though.

This was my first month off BC and I finally got AF at CD36

I am still waiting-- and feeling a little bloaty, like I might have put on a pound or two for the bloat and ravenously hungry.

I just want to get the damn thing already!

Everyone is different - 1st month of day 30, second month day 41, and third month day 20!!
