Eye Exam after Giving Birth
I am 8 weeks postpartum.....I was just wondering when I could go get an eye exam. I know that pregnancy can mess with your vision, so I want to get checked when I’m “normal” again

Eye Exam after Giving Birth
I got an exam/new glasses right after my second daughter was born. I never knew it was potentially an issue.

Me either. My vision didn't change at all during pregnancy.

Re: Eye Exam after Giving Birth
Just guessing, but probably when your hormones are back to normal. My vision worsened a little. I've been either pregnant or nursing for my last 5 years of eye exams, so idk if it was a temporary change. But, my optometrist exam is good for a year if I felt like I needed a recheck and 1-800 will exchange my unopened contacts if needed.

Re: Eye Exam after Giving Birth
Call your OB and ask, or ask the eye place. I do remember that my eye doctor specifically told me to not have an eye exam while pregnant and for a while after but I don't remember how long. Just googled and it said 3 months pp.

It was on the paperwork when I went to fill out the eye exam. My vision actually got better.
