easter/passover food reviews
what were successes and what won't appear on the menu, next year?
share recipes and/or links to those that were yummy, please.
i hosted, second year... i'm hoping to make this "my holiday"... that way i don't have to be in the christmas rotation.
i made the following: * deviled eggs * bacon wrapped asparagus * pesto tortellini salad * green salad * kugel * stuffed mushrooms (my own copycat of the bucca di beppo's)
because i was still officially recovering, i didn't make labor-intensive items. my sister made the main meat dish, a friend brought two sides, and my cousin made the desserts.
next time i need to make much, much more asparagus. i never imagined that would be so popular.
please share your dishes.

The asparagus my mil made this year wasn't that great. She wanted it to be all fancy and big, but it turned out woody and stringy. I would have preferred it charred, not baked too. She is a great cook, too.
We had turkey and ham, because it was convenient. I'd rather have my mother's pappardelle with veal bolognese and baby lamb.
