Area near Epcot to stay close to restaurants and bars
Me and DH are stopping at Epcot after visiting family on way to airport. We want to book room for two nights (not in Disney). We want to be close by to an area that has restaurants, bars so we can have a drink before going back to hotel. We don't mind if we have to drive 10, 15 miles to Epcot. We just want to stay somewhere where we can have fun at night too and be close to hotel.

So many places you can stay... just depends on your budget!
Some include: JW Marriott, Hard Rock with all the universal studios fun and that night area, Waldorf...
But I’ve even stayed at places for under $100 per night and they’ve been awesome. Orlando is filled with vacation places! I think outside of Disney gives you more options for the $

Thanks so much. I guess what I am looking for is what area is best and has some night things going on? We will look into just a Hampton Inn or similar as this is just a quick stop over before heading to airport and coming home.

I would stay near Universal then you can go to the bars at CityWalk. We have stayed at the Courtyard Convention Center, and it was fine. We had points so it was free. I have honestly never been to the bar in Orlando because I always have my kids. But you can always Uber it back to the hotel from City Walk

Or you can book a Downtown Disney hotel, they are not Disney hotels. Then you can walk over to downtown Disney which has many bars and restaurants
