Not Happy with Highlights
Hi- I had partial highlights done last Wednesday, and I kind of hate them. I can't really pinpoint why...I think they may look too "brassy"/orange. I would rather not go back to the place that did them originally, I wasn't a fan.
My question is, if I go to a salon to get them fixed, do I have to sit there for another 3 hours and go through the whole process again?? Ugh, I think I'd rather keep my sucky hair than do that. Is there something they can maybe do with toner?
TIA!

Not Happy with Highlights
Perhaps try a purple shampoo at home to cut the brassiness?

Yes they can usually tone down the brightness with a toner.

I’ve done thisand it’s been pretty quick. They let the toner sit like 30 mins or so and rinsed it out.

Re: Not Happy with Highlights
Thanks for the suggestions! You know what though, my hair is actually starting to grow on me. I'm going to give it a few more days before I do anything. I think it may be my aging face I'm not liking in the mirror haha!

I was going to say that as well. Sometimes if you give it a few days, it either grows on you or it tones it self down/fades out a bit with washing it a few times. That has happened to me as well.
