Yes and I did. It's not a deal breaker, it can always be installed later.

Would you buy a house without air conditioning?
Central AC was not even in our list of must haves- personally I don’t care for it. We use window units. I live in a beautiful old house that would be a nightmare to have central AC installed according to our HVAC guy.

We don't have CAC, we just use window ACs and it's not that bad. A little annoying, but it wasn't a deal breaker for us and wouldn't be in the future if we moved to a different house.

We bought a huge 22k wall unit - cost about 700 bucks. works well on first floor.

Now that Im in a house with central air I would not consider a house that did not have it unless all the duct work was there and ready to go. Must have for us
