can a cat break their nose?

I took my cat to the vet today. She totally freaked when we put her in the carrier! She is usually so mild mannered and gentle but she was so scared.

She was biting the cage and clawing to get out! I was trying to comfort her but she was so upset!

When I got to the vet, I noticed a cut on her nose and it was bleeding.

The vet cleaned it and said it would scab over and the scab would fall off in a few weeks.

Now I notice that her nose is swollen. Do you think she could have broken it or do you think it is just from the cut???
