Physical Sunscreen for face?
Anyone use one? I find that every time I use a chemical sunscreen on my face my eyes burn. Even if I am careful not to put it near my eyes. I don't know if I'm sensitive to the fumes or what.
Is there a physical sunscreen- like a zinc based- that I can use under make up? I don't want it to have a white cast or anything.
Does this exist?

I normally use the IT cosmetic CC cream - it has SPF 50 in it.

Re: Physical Sunscreen for face?
Yes I used to use that and then I found it started to accentuate my texture and i wasn't a fan of it as my every day makeup. But maybe I will get it again for just the beach/pool...

The tube is a chemical sunscreen so it would probably cause me the same issues I've been having. I have to look at the ingredients in the stick

Re: Physical Sunscreen for face?
I use Zo Skin Health face products.. and they have one that is a primer/spf 30 with a small tint and its awesome. I use it daily and it makes the rest of my make up look great, and half the time I don’t even bother with any more make up since it has a light tint.

That’s what I use, and a little goes a long way.

Super goop makes a sunscreen powder that I just started using. I, pretty sure it is just zinc oxide, I'll have to look. I also can't use chemical sunscreens. I also just ordered this new sunscreen from super fab, it's sprays on over your makes up. I'm also pretty sure it is zinc based.

I have the super goop setting spray and it's awesome. I use it at the beach to refresh my sunscreen and it feels nice and smells nice. But it's really just for touch ups. You need to apply a full sunscreen first I think. Or you can use it over make up as your setting spray with the added benefit of sunscreen. But I wouldn't trust it to fully cover my face, kwim? I love it though. So great at the beach

Deramlogica has a booster. It’s a sunscreen that you add to anything. I got it to add to my moisturizer. I find combo products are thick. I’m not sure of the spf. I don’t think it’s high but I only use it for non beach outdoor time.

Physical Sunscreen for face?
I use baby sunscreen for my face. Right now I am using the Aveeno Baby sunstick. No burning when I sweat and I don't get too much color, which I prefer now that I am 40.

Re: Physical Sunscreen for face?
I’ve tried lots of different brands and for one reason or another didn’t like the consistency, etc.... and then I found First Aid Beauty face moisturizer with spf 40. They have it at Sephora. I wear it under makeup and it works great. I have combination skin. Here’s a link
