Eye shadow
I'm looking for a nice chocolate brown shadow with gold flakes...any good recommendations?

I love MAC eye shadows. These are the ones I would recoomend and I do have them.
1) Bronze
2)Mulch
3) Romp
4) Sable
You will definitely love the Bronze and Sable colors.

I agree, I have Sable and use it as an eyeliner, love it! Go to Mac Stef.

I can't say I would recommend NARS - Ashes to Ashes (it's more of a tan frost than chocolate brown w/sparkles.)
Too Faced - Dirt Bag is a good one:
(It's description is listed as "Dark Chocolate with Golden Sparks")
Be back in a sec to update with actual photos and more recommendations. 
From left to right:
Too Faced - Dirt Bag
NARS - Night Clubbing
NARS - Ondine
NARS - Ashes to Ashes
(the flash kind of washed out the colors)
Too Faced - Dirt Bag (it's more sparkly than this photo shows)
NARS - Night Clubbing
(it's a very dark brown...very smokey on the eyelid)
NARS - Ondine
(more on the chocolate side w/lots of gold shimmer)
NARS - Ashes to Ashes
(blurry shot, but it's definitely more of a frost than a shimmer or sparkle.)

I agree. I typically use MAC but bought Maybelline just to try it, and it doesn't stay on. It just ends up all over the rest of my face. Revlon is better but MAC is still the best!

i agree...they definitel last long
BUT i also use a cream underneath
i think everyone should...
it truly brings out the color of a shadow and is LONG lasting
