Microblading
No advice, but I also would love more info. My brows basically stopped growing at some point - and not from plucking. They just don’t grow. Ugh.

My brows have always been sparce and more blonder than the hair on my head. Groupon has a deal right now and the person has good reviews. I may tell dh he got me my Christmas gift early.

I love Groupon as much as the next person, but I would be leery doing anything from Groupon on my face ever again. I did Botox thru Groupon once and she didn't inject right and my one eye was wonky for 3 months until it wore off. People asked if I had a stroke, it was that bad. Microblading is a bit more permanent so i would find someone with alot of great reviews and probably not on Groupon.

Re: Microblading
I got mine done yesterday, I've waited two years for this. When I was done and looked in the mirror, I was practically crying from excitement! Only been a day but so far so good. I did a ton of research beforehand and went with Long Island Microblading in Massapequa, and I'm glad I did. Totally worth it IMO

Yes I’ve done it and it’s AWESOME. I’m waiting to go back for my touch up . I have brows, just wanted a lil fuller and more definition. It’s a very natural look. Here is right after it was done

Yes! Please do this if you're comfortable with it. Almost all I've seen the results look so harsh. Wondering if it softens up over time.
And how long does it last?

Re: Microblading
It softens a bit. The results after your 6 week touch last about 1.5 yrs. there is some maintenance involved as it will fade. It’s semi permanent. But I don’t mind paying to not have to fill/shape my brows each morning. Also, I paid way less.

That looks great! Where did you go?
My brows are so thin and so light. If I don't color them in it looks like I don't have any. I forgot to do them before having my passport photo done. Scary

Thanks!!! I’m in FL, there’s a so many places that do it down here, for very reasonable prices, apprx $200. This girl I went to was so good. It’s def worth it to get it done .

It doesn’t hurt terribly , but it’s a little uncomfortable. It didn’t hurt so much that I’m dreading going back, if that makes any sense.

Re: Microblading
I don't have a before, I never take pics without them colored in, but this is right after. I had very little hair there before. It's hard to see the hair strokes in the pic, but they are there, the color has faded a lot also. It's much lighter now and matches my natural hair now Image Attachment(s):

Yeah, I’d like to know, too. The “blading” part scares me.

It’s semi permanent makeup that lasts for a few months to a year plus. Tiny needles are used to basically draw the eyebrow hairs but no major blade involvement
