Any SEIT teachers out there?
Hi! I've recently transitioned to doing SEIT work. Additionally, I completed training for ABA EI therapy.
Right now, I'm working out of Long Island which is great. However, I only have 1 SEIT case at the moment. I have heard this is very common, and September is quite slow.
For those of you who have a background in SEIT work, I'd love to know your experience with it. Is there a time frame for when it becomes busier? How many hours were you able to work each week?
Thanks so much!

I do Speech but through agency work. EI cases can be slow to come in> Especially since many EI kids age out in August so therapist are taking new cases.
I work with 3 agencies so you might want to look into working for a few agencies.

When I did seit work, September is slow. Mid October is usually when things pick up. You can work a full 25-30 hours a week if not more. Work for more than one agency. New York therapy, kids therapy life’s worc, all bigger agencies branch out!

All agencies are dead in september and harass you nonstop all winter especially spring when everyone is full......you should be full by november....my best advice is to double up on cases in the summer (totally no fun for summer) and you'll be fine ever fall. i did this for 13 years...GL!
