Miami
We’re heading there in November with my kids (will be 5, 3, and 11 mo).
Other than beach and pool, any suggestions?

Re: Miami
My kids loved Zoo Miami.
We loved renting tandem bikes near in SoBe. We road the boardwalk up to South Pointe Park where the cruise ships come in. Nice playground there too.
Key Biscayne is nice to rent a surrey bike, and do the beach there for the day. You might be able to snorkel just a bit by the rocks by the lighthouse.
Lincoln Rd, Wynwood and the Design District were really cool to walk through and site see.

Loews is so lovely. Hospitality at it's finest. I look forward to returning! The Front Porch Cafe is within walking distance to Loews and they have giant chess in the back.
They'll serve breaded chicken & fries just about anywhere. Yuca on Lincoln was notably good. We also enjoyed Estefan Kitchen in the Design District. Dolphin Mall has a ton of great kid friendly restaurants too including hibachi. In Key Biscayne, La Boulangerie Boul’Mich was delicious for breakfast or brunch and Novecento for dinner.
Also the Frost Science museum is another kid friendly & interesting place to visit at least once while your in the area.

I will! I hear it's very kid friendly and I also hear nothing but good things about everything there so I'm excited!

Just got back, so wanted to update you on the Loews. It's lovely. Beautiful rooms, very clean, updated and modern. Luxury feel. The pool area is great. They cater to your every need. Excellent service and pampering all around. But pack your wallet. It's insanely expensive in that hotel. A drink at the pool starts at $15. A burger is $22. Salads range from $16 to $22 with no protein in them. A KID's PB & J sandwich with a few fries and a few pieces of fruit is $15. $15 for a fuking PB&J- not even a fancy one. Think wonder bread. In the coffee shop it was $11 for 2 coffees. $6 for a cup of orange juice. Then they add a gratuity to everything- even the coffee in the coffee shop. So just be prepared. We ate breakfast off site every day since an omelette was $20 and the buffet breakfast $33 a person for adults in the restaurant there.
The area around the hotel though- super sketch. I honestly didn't' feel safe at night in that vicinity. It's South Beach so I guess it's par for the course, but I actually hated having to venture out from the hotel at night to be honest. In the day it was better.
Other than that, it's a great hotel. Activities for the kids each day at the pool, pool is super kid friendly. Beach is nice. Staff is excellent.
