Kentucky Derby
Did anyone watch? I know very little about horse racing but not sure if I agree with the outcome / disqualification...

Kentucky Derby
I watched. I know nothing but one person said if this was any other race the horse would have been disqualified. Since it was one of the biggest races they debated what was the correct thing to do and I think they made the right decision on my very little knowledge.

I did not watch it, but this was my understanding from reading a few articles about it this evening.

The jockey did not control his horse very well and the horse kept veering in and out of his lane, blocking other horses from passing.
Very rare for a horse to be in the lead coming out of the gate and then first across the finish line.
DH and I wound up winning our pool anyway, with the 20 horse being declared the winner.
