crockpot question?
I have a crockpot... and I'd love to use it more, but I'm afraid to leave it on when I go to work...plus I don't think I need to cook anything for as many hours as I am away from the house (more than 6 hours at a time).
Should I stop worrying about fires and just leave it on? Or just continue to use it on the weekends? What does everyone else do?

Re: crockpot question?
I was JUST going to post a similar question!!! We are thinking of getting one, but worried about leaving it on all day...
I'd love to hear what others do as well.

Re: crockpot question?
They say it's the same as leaving your VCR plugged in all day, which everyone does (or DVD players!)....but I am afraid to leave it all day. I usually use it if I am in and out of the house all day, but I never do if I am working all day.
I am a little paranoid about that kind of stuff though....
I am sure it is safe...
