My DH and I saw it this weekend and both did not like it at all BUT it’s like a musical and we don’t enjoy movies like that (mama Mia for example)
IF you are a musical movie lover you will enjoy it

DH and I liked it.
Reminded me a bit of The Greatest Showman, the way the story is told in part dialog, part song.
Never knew how messed up his life was, I knew about the drugs and alcohol, but the reason behind it all.
