Back to School!
Just saw my first ad on facebook or "back to school" outfits. School hasn't ended yet. Summer hasn't started. I guess we're skipping summer break this year. Get on that Back to School Shopping you slackers.

Re: Back to School!
I ordered backpacks for next year today I'll probably get their back to school supplies this week. I find doing it during the summer to be a buzz kill. It just reminds me that summer is almost over. Rather do it now and shove it in a closet until the night before school starts

Probably because most schools across the country have been out for sometime now and go back in mid August. Still stupid though lol

Back to School!
I was in Costco and they had back to school stuff. I honestly wish my son went to school all year round. I hate his summer schedule

Trust me so do I. But I can't buy her back to school outfit when she's still in school. And the last thing I want to think about is Sept and the start of another 10 months of winter when its barely even been hot out yet .w When we move to Florida I will feel differently

Are the PB backpacks worth the money? My kids are starting a 2s class in the fall and need a backpack/ lunchbox.

Held up great all year and washed nicely.

Re: Back to School!
I already ordered my school supplies for next year... I love having it done and out of the way- the PTA does something we can buy all the supplies ahead and it's all on their desks on the first day of school so no worries about sending the supplies in.
We have had good luck with PB back packs and lunch boxes, they wash well and DS has had his for 2 years already.

I wish my PTA would do this. I hate having to go to Target with a list and try to find all the obscure shit they put on there. So annoying. I'd gladly pay double for the convenience of not having to shop for it. It could be a great fundraiser- way better then those shittyy coupon books!

I have no idea but I figured it must be better than the generic amazon ones I got that barely lasted the year without disintegrating lol. I like that PB has different sizes depending on the child’s age. I got my little guy who starts pre-k the mini size (10 inches) and my DD who will be first grade the small size (15 inches)

I teach Pre-k and just wanted to say you might want to exchange your son’s backpack for a small. 10” is too small for a folder and projects that will be coming home.

Too bad these were final sale He actually doesn’t bring folders home. They have a home workbook that goes home Monday and comes back on Friday so hopefully it’s not that big of a deal...

We have had good luck with PB back packs and lunch boxes, they wash well and DS has had his for 2 years already.
Our PTA does this too and it costs around $60. I don't do the kit because I can go to Target and spend about $22 for the same, or just about the same, supplies. I refuse to overspend just because it's a fundraiser for the school. Just my 2 cents on that. LOL I bought a 30 pack of glue sticks from Amazon 2 years ago for $10 and that's what I send in to school, so I don't even buy those anymore!
I bought him a PB lunch box and BP this past year and it has held up incredibly well. So much so, that he will most likely use it for next year too and maybe even the year after that if it's still in good shape! I'd say save your money on the thermos though. Ours leaked from day 1 no matter what tricks I tried, so I just use the Contigo water bottles.
