has anyone taught summer school @ boces?

they have summer special ed positions from july 1-august 15 and I was debating applying. Is it alot of work?

It kind of is a lot of work but I enjoyed it

Before I had kids I worked at different Nassau boces programs for six summers. I’m a speech therapist for the nyc doe and so as the low man on the totem pole, they kinda stuck me where they needed me. Which was totally fine. I worked in various locations with lots of different kinds of kids. I had great experiences in each setting however they were full days of work five days a week

In hindsight I should’ve worked for the doe lol. But honestly I enjoyed the kids and the different settings.
