Optimum customers- question
I am getting rid of Direct TV and going to try Optimum again. It's cheaper than FIOS. I placed an order a few weeks ago and cancelled and replaced order. One order has me with Altice One and the other with older Samsung boxes. Can anyone tell me which is better? I know nothing about this other than Altice is newer and I have read lots of complaints. I spoke to two reps and one said Altice is better and the other Samung is better. I am ready to forget this and stay with Direct TV. Too much time spent doing this.

Optimum customers- question
I have the Samsung boxes, my parents have the Altice. I haven't noticed any difference. I like the remote that comes with the Samsung but that's probably because I'm more used to it.

The Altice remote is awful. We returned it. The older box is much better in our opinion.

I opted out of Altice as I read horrible complaints. Are your older boxes bigger? They just came and Im surprised how big boxes are. We had Direct tv for years and boxes were tiny. The guy here said lots of problems with Altice.
