Bachelorette ideas

Help! I’m my friends MOH I need to plan a bachelorette for sometime next summer. I’m the only one on LI, everyone else is in CT. My friend wants a day of sun/ spa/ maybe beach/ food/ bars. I’m at a loss of what to do. Many of us have kids so nothing far, I’m just trying to think of something budget friendly and fun for a weekend, preferably just an overnight

If they take the ferry over, then Montauk or the Hampton’s would be fun & not too far. Maybe Gurneys...I’ve never been but hear they have a nice spa. Or maybe Newport, Rhode Island.

There's the Norwich Inn and Spa. You could do that and then hit up Mohegan. We always stay at a Comfort Inn or Microtel...I can't remember what it is...right by Mohegan. It's inexpensive, free breakfast, free shuttle to the hotel, food vouchers and a free spin on the wheel.

We have also done Newport which is really nice. I also LOVE Chatham Bars Inn but that's a little further and a little more pricey. What about Crystal Springs in NJ? My friends were there this weekend doing goat yoga. LOL

Thanks for all the ideas! I’m going to research some of these today and make some calls! I was going to do Fire Island originally but it was going to be $500pp just for the house and a 2 night minimum, I seriously hate these things!
