Skinny jeans and shoes in winter
I've recently gotten comfortable wearing skinny jeans/pants. I wear them in black to my job with flats but I have no idea what shoes to wear when the weather gets cooler. I am always cold so I need my ankles covered in the winter. Is there any way to wear flats with socks that doesn't look awful? Do I have to do boots or booties?

I don't do flats ever so I will wear a tall boot over my skinny jeans or a bootie with my skinny jeans in the winter.

Same...or sneakers like Vans or Sperry’s but that might be too casual for you.
Eta: I wear no show socks with sneakers, I don’t think there’s a good way to wear socks with flats.

They have those no-show socks, but your ankles are still going to freeze.
I wear boots and booties with my skinny jeans. It's like my winter uniform.

Agree.. bootie, high boots. I wouldn’t wear flats with socks.. maybe commute in sneakers and socks and then change to flats or heels.
I also wear converse, Nike sneakers or sperrys type slip oh shoes.
If you wear socks with flats, I feel like it will look like the Kung Fu fighters from those old martial art movies.

In the winter I wear booties with skinny jeans or somewhat tall boots with buckles. It depends on the skinny jean. Sometimes they are too loose on my legs.
