sad its come to this. People throw garbage out their car windows. People litter the streets. When a home owner lives near street drain that gets clogged with debris and litter and they dont clean it... all that ends up somewhere

Did everyone know about this-
You’ve never heard of the great pacific garbage patch? It’s bigger in size than TX. It’s very sad. I teach about this during my ecology unit so my students all know about it.
The issue is micro plastics not necessarily plastic you can see and discard. Granted removing the macro plastics will hopefully reduce the amount of micro plastics long term

No I meant I didn’t know about the efforts by this particular guy to clean it up

Yes. I donated when they made the announcement about the river cleaner machine things. They are awesome.
