KlingKlang77...where you at girl?
Are you still in Germany? What's happening over there? Can you tell us what you are experiencing?

Re: KlingKlang77...where you at girl?
Yes, I’m still in Germany.
The situation is getting worse.
This is the message we got this morning for my state (Bavaria):
Recreational facilities closed
From Tuesday, March 17, all “recreational facilities” in Bavaria will also be forced to close until April 19. This includes: Sauna and bathing facilities, thermal baths, wellness studios Sports halls, gyms, dance studios Sports grounds and playgrounds Cinemas, theatres, amusement arcades Bars, clubs Libraries, museums, city tours Zoos and amusement parks Conference and event rooms Further education and training facilities, adult education centres Music schools Youth centres Brothels
Art Minister Bernd Sibler assured customers that money for tickets would be refunded. Shop closures & extended supermarket hours
All retail shops will also be forced to close from Wednesday onwards. The only exceptions to this are: Grocery & beverage markets Banks Pharmacies Drugstores DIY and garden centres Medical supply stores Opticians Hearing aid specialists Post offices Pet stores Petrol stations Dry cleaners Online shops I have to LOL at the Brothels part.
The borders (France, Switzerland, Austria, Poland, Czech, Denmark) have mostly been closed (Netherlands and Belgium are open for some reason). Trains are not running properly. You can only enter buses through certain doors. My SO is stuck trying to get home to his mom. Half his time is here in Munich and half in Traunstein.
I’m stocked up with food, but I’m too anxious to eat right now. I lost my side job at a restaurant today. I teach and they have gone to online teaching. Nobody knows what to do. We were also instructed that we should talk to elderly family members about what they want to do with regards to DNR. There aren’t enough ventilators.
I’m frightened.
I don’t know what I’m going to do. But I at least know that I’m not the only person to go through this.
I’m f$cking scared.

Oh and I saw a special emergency bus from the Red Cross today. Never seen that before. We are closed until Easter.

Re: KlingKlang77...where you at girl?
I’m so sorry. It is definitely a scary situation for the entire world. I’m Hoping these closures/shutdowns are an over reaction (like when a hurricane hits ) and it’s better to be safe than sorry. We have seen that these measures are slowing the growth and helping other countries slow the spread - so doing it now, before it’s absolutely out of control is really the best thing to do.
Once there is sufficient testing , my whole gut is telling me we will see the mortality rate is lower then they are saying right now.

Re: KlingKlang77...where you at girl?
I’m going to update this as things are changing like crazy.
I’ve basically lost almost all of my jobs. I have a few but it’s not enough. If you are someone that lives paycheck to paycheck, start finding out about payment plans and stopping your direct debit. Take cash out of the bank.
I’ve been hiding out for about 3 days. It’s so empty here. I have food and I can pay my bills, but I’m thinking about the next few months. Try not to freak out. Remember you aren’t the only one going through this.

Oh, no, no.
I’m ok with basic supplies.
Wine and Xanax would be welcome
I kid.
