House gatherings

Would you go to a house gathering with say six or seven people this weekend?

Re: House gatherings

Not a chance

I’m not even allowing my DHs parents to visit unless absolutely necessary.

Not worth it.

Work is a necessity. I don't understand why the concept of soclal distancing is so hard for people to comprehend.

The idea is to limit the opportunity for the virus to attach to another person., which then becomes a vector to spread to more people.

If you are at work with 10 people and have the virus- you can potentially infect 10 people and each one of those infect say 10 people for ex.

Then you go to your social gathering after work, and you infect another ten people and they go on to infect people.

The less people we have contact with, the less people will go on to infect so many others.

Re: House gatherings

Please don't. You will be fine, but what if someone else is not because of it. If this is overblown (and I don't think it is) - you miss one fun night out?

I wouldn’t. The risk is low but I think we really all need to heed the warnings and ride this out at home...

House gatherings

No. If people would just listen, we can get this thing under control much quicker. Then everyone can go back to normal as quickly as possible.
