Are you all going to supermarkets or trying to make due with what you have
We do fill in trips once a week. DH has been going and it makes me incredibly nervous. He bought a ton of stuff yesterday so hopefully that will stretch us for two weeks. I cannot get a time slot for PeaPod or Amazon Fresh and I've been trying for awhile. Is there a trick to it? Right now the only thing we need is paper towels (and not to hoard, we are out of them). DH had luck at Best Market with regular shopping (except for paper towels).

Re: Are you all going to supermarkets or trying to make due with what you have
Just went food shopping today, last time was almost 2 weeks ago. What a difference! The shelves are so bare, zero paper products and everyone so somber. So depressing. We should be good for another 1.5 to 2 weeks on food. Trying to make a lot of things where leftovers can make another meal. Trying to stretch things so we can shop less.

Ugh this upsets me. It’ll be 2 weeks since I went last tmrw and I’m dreading it. We are still good on meat and such but I need eggs, bread and milk and I’m pretty sure I’m gonna be SOL. I’ll report back tomorrow

We got all that today. The only things that were scarce were frozen things like fries, hash browns, onion rings, frozen vegies. And of course cleaning supplies, hand soap etc. Didnt go down the paper goods aisle but I'm sure it was not great Milk was 100% stocked. Plenty of bread. Plenty of eggs. This was stop n shop

Walmart fully stocked except for paper products and cleaning supplies. They had plenty of hand soap. Much better than 2 weeks ago.

I see on line via lots of local friends everything is stocked. Also, there are a fee places I can recommend if need be.

I'm in Tewksbury, shopped in Chester. I got the basics but so many shelves were pretty bare compared to last time I shopped.

Oh good. I hope my stop and shop is stocked too.
If anyone has a WB mason business account, they have opened up home deliveries for their business accounts. We ordered cleaning stuff, coffee, snacks and paper towels through them. Shipping isn’t next day but still there was decent stuff to choose from (no Lysol or bleach products tho)

We still go once a week. This saturday was better than the last 2 weeks. Fewer people, mroe food. Still low on frozen items, rice, and paper & cleaning products.
Stop & shop hasn't had eggs in 3 weeks, but Whole Foods did.

Re: Are you all going to supermarkets or trying to make due with what you have
An update:
I just got back from stop and shop in west Islip. I was able to get everything but frozen veggies. They were completely sold out. But plenty of milk, meat & other dairy products. Eggs were scarce. Only the $$$$ ones. I grabbed an 18 pack.
It’ll be another 2 weeks til I go again
I will say that going at 10:00am - there weren’t many people there at all which was nice. I cleaned my cart, wore old mask I had here from Xmas eve (dH uncle has cancer and was here. Had some for him) and gloves. Packed my car and then proceeded to pick up about 6 gloves off the ground in the parking lot before tossing it all out wrapped in my own gloves. WHY??? Why throw your medical waste trash onto the parking lot ground? There are trash cans outside the store. Don’t be a creep. Clean up after yourselves. Jesus

Glad you got everything. I don't understand the frozen food shortage. Odd. And yes, people are gross. Gross animals.
