Missouri is sueing China
Did anyone see this. They are sueing Chinia for not doing enough and for what it's costing the US.
I hope they are successful and China pays

Totally agree. Was watching something yesterday and they said that China knew how bad this virus was back in December and bought up all of the medical supplies such as masks, and ventilators before it really hit here in the states.

what makes this more of joke is that we rely on china for tons of shitttt. if anything they have the higher hand and we probably shouldnt really pissing them off too much!!

That is going to amount to nothing. I read this last week and there is some act in place called the https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foreign_Sovereign_Immunities_Act that makes it really difficult to "win." I'd be really surprised if it works. But what do I know? I'm not a lawyer.

I can’t say I’ve purchased absolutely zero from China but I make a conscience effort when shopping, especially online, to buy made in the USA items.

lol I say this all the time. Can you imagine how expensive everything would be if they had to open American factories to make everything? American workers that cost a ton more per hour. Not to mention the supplies. It's a nice thought to buy things made in the USA, in reality most things that say they are made in the USA are only assembled in the USA. All the parts are still made overseas. I love the shop small sentiment. You can buy art and decor from shops on Etsy or local small businesses, but how much could you really buy? It's expensive. I love to support small businesses when I can, but I can't afford to do that regularly.

Many times it’s “made in America” but truthfully only assembled here and the parts come from all over so even though you may think you are buying American made you are not.

I don't think this lawsuit will amount to anything. But what they should do is start to shift their focus on bringing manufacturing back to the US so they don't have to rely on China so much.

if i'm in a store, and i see "Made in China" i put it down. saves me a shit ton of money let me tell you.
my cousin buys refurbished electronics for me; I don't buy retail.
