Random sibling question....
If your two children (esp if they are the same gender) were the same age and in the same class, do you think they'd be friends?
I often ask myself this question with my children and, even though they play well together, I think they are so different that I doubt they'd be in the same circle of friends.

Re: Random sibling question....
Interesting question? I have 2 boys 2 years apart. My 5th grader has a lot of friends, very smart in school (mainly math), not the most athletic, but can keep up with the boys and plays on a few rec teams and outgoing. He also had some slight delays when he was younger and still has some issues focusing. My 3rd grader, on the other hand, is more shy and only lets a couple of friends close to him. He’s not into sports at all and much quicker and wittier than his brother. Does well in school but not as well as his older brother. They get along pretty well and honestly I don’t know if they’d be friends but they are great for each other bc of that. They help each other out bc of their differences and help see the other side of things. Look, me and my siblings are total opposite too. I guess that’s why they say you can’t pick your family but can pick your friends.

Random sibling question....
Depends. My brother and I are 2 years apart. We were in the same clubs in high school and had a similar group of friends.

usually twins yes, but I dont think having a sibling the same age and or gender equal great friends

Re: Random sibling question....
my sister and i are 11 months apart. we overlapped on some friends, growing up... but now that i think about it, it was mostly my friends who would be nice to her. i never really wanted much to do with her friends.
as adults, we share only one or two friends.
all that to say, NO. if we didn't live in the same house, we would not have hung out together growing up.

Random sibling question....
My daughers, yes. They are best friends. My sister and I...absolutely not. We are complete opposites.
