Pool care question
I bought an Intext pool, about 7 ft by 5 ft by 2 ft deep. It’s about 436 gallons. Too big to drain constantly imo. I bought a pump for it but honestly it’s all very intimidating to me, I’m a single mom and this stuff is not my forte. Since it’s so small, can I use one of those floating chlorine filter things? Ugh I am just so worried about electrocuting or poisoning my family.

Re: Pool care question
I watched a you tube video about caring for an outdoor hot tub. They used the clorine tablets in the floating thing and then they had a brush that they would use to clean the walls and bottom and a skimmer to clean anything on top. I think if you use all of those it should be fine. Does it have a cover?

Pool care question
I'm not sure about the chlorine, but if you went to pool store or called and asked they could probably give you an idea of how much you would need for that size pool or if it's safe to use in that type of pool. For my pool, I always make sure to unplug the pump before we go in the pool because I'm always worried about the electric too.

Re: Pool care question
We had a pool like that many years ago. It was a little bigger. We wound up upgrading to a sand filter. Yes, you can put those floating chlorine holders as well. It stayed very clean. The key was upgrading the pump.
