Christmas.... I know I’m crazy!
So I start my Christmas shopping in August every year and budget all year so I know what I have to work with by August and then a projected remaining savings. Every year I factor in a membership for my kids to do something.... I was looking online and the aquarium you can make reservations for which I think is good. But is anyone actually going to these places? I’m nervous to get them a membership somewhere with Covid. Any ideas on something experience or membership related? 3.5 year old twins will be 4 in January! No more than $300!

A lot of the farms have season passes. We always buy them and go on not so great days because we don’t mind staying for an hour or two because we didn’t spend a lot for just one day.

Why don’t you make a list of potential places and then see how things look come December?
We’ve done the aquarium, the Bronx Zoo and right now we have the Museum of Natural History (which i hope gets extended since we got it Presidents’ Day weekend...)

This is what I’m nervous about, I saw online that there was reservations only thinking it wouldn’t be but I guess that’s not the case!

It's not really reservations only. You can make the "reservation" while standing in line at the aquarium. Kinda defeats the purpose.

What about those subscription boxes? That way, if things close again (fingers crossed they don't!!!), you have something to still do.

I love the monthly mail subscriptions. something to look forward and a surprise. we do magazines (like highlights) and boxes (like kiwi). so many things you can order for a yearly subscription.
I would def suggest the aquarium if covid wasn't still a thing...
