Now that I've decided to "go for it... (poll)
Since the consensus seemed to be that I should go for the upgrades for my bathroom renovation, if they are things I really want, I am trying to decide if I should go for the glass panel in the vanity door. These are pics of what I am talking about (not exactly what I am getting), but just to give an idea: ETA: the glass panel I’m considering is frosted glass with and clear glass border around the edge
with glass panel
Or without
So, would you choose with or without the glass panel?

So I love how it looks, but the only thing that might stop me is that now anything you store in there will be on display. While in the pics you see online always have perfectly coordinated items in there that are pretty much just for show, in real life what will you want to store in there? My toiletries and pills etc aren't always so pretty or color coordinated. Lol.
Having said that, if you plan to use the glass panel cabinet for just show and store everyday items elsewhere, I would go for it because it is very pretty!

My bff just removed the upper shelf unit from her sink because it got in the way all the time and she could never keep it looking pristine. I would not put that kind of cabinet unless you needed it for structural support. I would rather have large clean counters.

Now that I've decided to
I agree with above I don’t think I would put the upper cabinet at all. If your vanity is that big it already has a tremendous amount of storage space and like Nell said anything you put in there is basically just decorative.

I say no cabinet but if you really like the look and want it, I would do the mirror panel like in the first pic. I’m not crazy about the mirror panel but I like it better than the clear and I don’t like the way the cabinet on top looks without any panel.

This is a hard one!!
Depends on what you are storing in there. If it’s for towels or something in matching bins or containers, I’d go with the glass panel first. That would be my choice
If it’s stuff like hair products and multiple bottles and jars of different stuff, I’d go with the plain cabinet.
I’m saying no on the mirror only because you’ll already have 2 mirrors and that’s a lot of mirror in one spot.

Now that I've decided to
I love the style of that list picture! I think I'd just go solid. For one, bc you'll have to keep the contents perfect to be worth it and also bc it would be a pain to keep the glass clean. It's one thing to clean a mirror but the glass with the dividers would be annoying with toothpaste splatter and fingerprints.

I like the way glass looks better but as others have said I'd prefer no upper cabinet at all.

Without glass or with the mirror. Only because I wouldn’t everyone seeing what’s in there and I would never keep it neat and organized

This. The glass looks great but I know myself and I would regret it later

LOL. Exactly. The real question is, how organized and neat are you? I am not a neat freak and I can see that cabinet looking a disorganized mess probably about 90% of the time. With the 10% being cleaned for when guest come over. Which would drive me crazy to look at but not crazy enough to clean it.I like my mess hidden.

The glass that I’m looking at is frosted with clear lines (like a border) etched around the edges. So it wouldn’t really show everything in the cabinet

Ahh.. ok, I like to switch my answer to the frosted glass over the mirror!
