Has anyone been to this resort? I have a few questions about it!

Me. It was a hotel block for a wedding we went to a few years ago. DH was in the wedding so we were there a few nights. It was not as nice as the website made it appear.

Re: Waters Edge, Connecticut
Respectfully disagree with PP ;) I go I every year and love it. Rooms are slightly outdated but immaculate, and the grounds are beautiful. I love that you can stay for the weekend and not have to leave, like a resort. Unfortunately what I love most, listening to live music at the sunset lounge, is probably not happening this year. Might be a little boring with kids - not much to do beyond the pool and the sound (paddle boards, kayaks etc.). I usually go with my girlfriends and we have a ball.

We were there in the late fall so that may be why. It was also a few years ago. The restaurant had weird hours and the front desk was a hot mess. I remember the lobby being pretty and I would imagine it’s nicer in summer than fall. There was also a really good breakfast place a few minutes up the road. I was a million weeks pregnant at the time and remember eating like 5 stacks of pancakes there.

I just looked it looks dreamy, relaxing and the rooms done seem dated. If there was no COVID I might consider this for a vacation
