Always breaking out in the same spot on face
Does this happen to anyone else?
I don't break out often, sometimes right before my period, or if I've been bad and not keeping up with my skin care routine, but whenever I do, it is ALWAYS in this same spot on my left cheek. I never get a pimple anywhere else. Just this one spot and it's usually a cluster of a few small pimples right there.
I notice that even when I'm not broken out, that spot is always red too. I have a lot of redness in my face in general, but it seems that spot is always red.
Does anyone notice this?
What gives?

Is it in the area where you hold your phone? I've heard that can cause break outs

I thought of that, but its the opposite side of my face from where I hold the phone.
Though maybe I'm sleeping on that side more and its causing it.
So weird.

The same thing happens to me. If I breakout - which is rare, its always on the same spot on my right cheek. I have no idea why!

Happens to me right before I’m getting my period. Same spot and then I noticed they scar or it’s a dark spot. It started getting worse when working out. I started using witch hazel and now it clears up so much faster and no scarring. I had to do something because by the time the pimple would clear it was the time again. So I felt like my face was never clear.

So I did a little googling and came across this....
Often, a pimple recurs in the exact same spot because there is still inflammation deeper in the skin, which makes the spot vulnerable to the usual acne influencers (i.e., hormones, stress, diet, local irritants, etc.).
Very interesting. Question is, how do we get rid of that inflammation I wonder...

I'm going to try witch hazel! My mom used to use it all the time when i was a kid.

I'm going to try witch hazel! My mom used to use it all the time when i was a kid.
My aunt too. I started using it a month ago and noticed the difference. I have combination skin. But it may dry out your skin a little, so you may have to moisturize. I take a cotton ball and just put it in those spots once or twice a day. The pimples dry up faster and don’t scar. I noticed they breakout wasn’t as bad the second time I got my period.
I also started washing my face with Neutrogena after my workouts.

Witch Hazel definitely helps. I have dry skin so can't use it all over, but I do use it as a spot treatment and find it clears faster.

Mine will pop up randomly around my mouth.
I put toothpaste on them for a few hours at night so they clear up faster.
DH and my son look at me all confused but that's ok lol.

My cousin started using toothpaste because the working out was making her breakout in the same area. It works for her as well.

I heard if you laser that spot you are less likely to breakout there again. Same thing with cold sores.
