has anyone ever rented furniture?
i'll be having skin removal surgery, in february.
i don't have any furniture that would be easy to get in and out of. i hear a lot of people talk about sleeping in a recliner at the beginning.
has anyone ever rented furniture? is it worth it? is it crazy expensive? is it gross?

Do you have a store like Big Lots on the west coast? They have cheapish furniture. I wonder if it would cost close to the same as a rental but less of a gross factor and you can use for as long as you need.
If you don't get a recliner, get a lot of pillows. I have electric recliner but preferred to sleep in bed. Wedge under the head and stack of pillows under the knees/legs to stop pulling on the midline incision.
I slept with the legs elevated for at least 2 months. I'm still using the head wedge and now have pillows on each side for the arms. The head wedge helps my back since I can't go on my side and it changes my back angle a bit so I dont totally lock up.

interesting.
yes, there are big lots out here. i found a place that rents power recliners. they cost $200/month. i looked up recliner prices at big lots and some of the recliners they have are only $250.
almost the same cost and i can donate it or give it to someone afterwards. i like. and no gross factor.
