Christmas Breakfast spinoff... Blueberry Croissant Puff question
BLUEBERRY CROISSANT PUFF RECIPE
for those of you who have made it...
has anyone doubled the recipe? has anyone made it ahead of time and popped it (unbaked) in the freezer?
i've made similar things over the years, i think i have all the ingredients to make it for this christmas morning... along with the tater tots casserole (ha, it's going to be a Nell christmas morning).
thanks.

Re: Christmas Breakfast spinoff... Blueberry Croissant Puff question
Yes, yes, those are mine
For the croissant puff, I have prepared everything but not poured the liquid over the top of the croissants until just before baking So prep it all, keep the cream cheese, milk, egg, etc mixture in a little measuring cup or bowl or whatever and keep in fridge.
Right before you bake it just pour it over the top Give it a stir first though.
I haven't doubled it, but I am sure you can- just use a larger pan

The recipe says to soak it overnight, so you can definitely prepare it before hand.

I made this as did my friend and both of ours came out soggy and kind of gross. Not sure what we did wrong!
