Foreclosure Lawyer
Is anyone on here a foreclosure/real estate lawyer? We have been dealing with HOA issues on a condo we own for a almost 3 years. The lawyer we currently have is very hard to get ahold of and we have been trying to settle the issues. When he responds we get somewhere but I have to reach out numerous times over weeks to get a response. Please message me any advice you may be able to offer. We have paid this person thousands to help us and its just not OK anymore.

Re: Foreclosure Lawyer
File a complaint with the bar association. Lawyers have to legally respond to clients within a reasonable period of time. I would go through your cell phone to see if you can create a phone log or call your phone company to see if they will give you a call log without requiring a court order. Have you emailed him or sent a letter in writing? I would send him a certified letter with the outline of days and times you attempted to contact him. Tell him that this is your final attempt to contact him and if you do not receive a response within ten days of the receipt of the certified letter you will be forced to file a complaint to the bar requesting your money be returned to you for failing to represent you, and that you want his license taken away or any other punishment the bar association deems fit.

Foreclosure Lawyer
After calling his office, cell phone, emailing and texting he called us with an answer. This has been total BS from our HOA for 3 years and I want to settle it. They are adding in astronomical fees and our lawyer has never seen anything like this. Withholding the amount of interest they say is owed from legal documents, not providing a amount due unless we tell them if we want to pay it in full or in payments. It has been a nightmare.
