Impeachment count is starting
It will be a little while to get all the votes, but 3 Republicans so far have decided to be on the side of Democracy, and voted to Impeach.

I can’t believe there are Nay, I know it’s from Republicans but it’s just insane to me there is that many.
I can’t believe being so Wrong and guilty can be interpreted as “leave him alone”.

If you run a red light... consequence
If you drink and drive... consequence
If you forget to pay a bill... consequence
If you incite extreme rioting inside a federal building... no consequence.

I never used to look down on Republicans before Trump. They are so aligned with their party that they can't even condemn this man. Do you think they're afraid of something?

I was having this conversation with my DH yesterday. Does he have something over them? I feel like something is happening on the background. I mean they are literally saying one thing and then days later backing out. It caught on TV too. Look at Lindsey Graham last week and then he’s on Airforce one yesterday. What is going on.

I agree, which is scary for them. But it’s also scary, that we can basically vote a dictator in office and it would be hard to get rid of him. So much for checks and balances.

McConnell has indicated he does not want to take up the impeachment trial until after Biden assumes office. I do not think he wants the blood on his hands so he is stalling. Therefore, Pelosi is holding back.
