ETA: it is only 80 doses out of 1400+. All affected have been contacted.

That's what you get when you put a state as inefficient and effed up as NY in charge of something as important as vaccines.
Doesn't surprise me at all sadly.

This is so awful and just a damn waste!
The scary part is Jones Beach probably isn't the first or the last....
This could've happened already anywhere and just hasn't been brought to anyone's attention.

This. Also, it is highly unlikely this was the fault of a human being, but almost definitely an equipment malfunction.
This is very unfortunate because research is actually showing that the vaccines are fine at higher temperatures.

So now these people are being told to get another shot. Three shots in two months? Was that ever studied in the trials?

Is that what they’re telling them? I’m surprised, since both doses are exactly the same and the percentage of immunity only goes up slightly after the second dose.

Yes, I was fully vaccinated on February 13th. I will be going for an antibody test in March.

Yes, I was fully vaccinated on February 13th. I will be going for an antibody test in March.
Never thought of doing that. I will once I get my second one.
They said only 80 of the 1400 administered that day was affected.
