Tween boy birthday gifts
Anyone else feel it's so tough to get gifts for older boys?
My son will be 12 and obviously all his friends are turning 12 too. I did Amazon GC's last year bc Covid and easier to just order online.
Still planning on doing GC's, but what stores are good? Dicks? We have a Denny's too some kids like bc they have a ton of Jerseys.
My son's is next month and don't know what to get him or tell people to get him.
Thinking wireless headphones (he has for school but a good pair to listen to music)
Maybe Jerseys. WIll need a new Jets one now that Darnold is off the team
He isn't into any sneakers even though most of his friends are.
What's the in thing for 12 year olds besides playing XBox or Playstation?! LOL

I would ask him what to tell people he would like. IME they want PlayStation, GameStop gc’s and as they get a little older cash.

Tween boy birthday gifts
We either do a video game, Amazon or ****'s giftcard but not as many kids have parties nowadays.
For my son himself - we usually get him some new sporting equipment, a jersey or two, sweatshirts, and video game stuff.

No, he's not going to a party, but his best friend's birthday is next week and we always exchange and stop by.
His other best friend is taking a few friends to Top Golf so wanted to be ready.
I figured a GC and a bunch of candy in a gift bag.

DS just turned 11 and I took him to D!ck's to pick out a few things and he was thrilled. He got handballs, a water jug he wanted, flip flops, and a few other things.
He was into some random, slightly surprising stuff lol.
So I vote for a GC from there for sure.

Thanks! Went to the store and got 2 GC's for his friend's bdays coming up. Just wanted a little different than Amazon. Love walking in that store too! They have everything!
