i'm beyond upset. ive been seeing him for 20 years, he is a great human being first and doctor second.

i don't think he will be back to the office from the way the staff spoke to me on the phone.

has anyone gone through this? I want to write him a note but how the heck do i write this.Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

I am so sorry. Yes, you should absolutely write a letter. I wrote one to my obgyn who just retired this month. He made time to see me, but it was bittersweet. I wrote about his impact on my life and helping me with my pregnancies. How I thought of him as a person and of our decades of knowing one another. I have known him since I was 9 years old and interviewed him for a project I did for g&t. I wrote a 40 page paper. I included the parts of the paper he was featured in as well as some vintage photos we took together 30 years ago. He cried while reading my letter to him. I know we had more than a regular doctor patient relationship as he knew my parents and siblings. So write what is in your heart and I am sure it will be appreciated.
