Car rental reimbursement through Allstate
I have rented a car when there was an accident and car was being repaired, but need a car as car broke down. Am I correct my insurance will not cover that?

They will not cover that. You will have to pay out of pocket for the car rental.

Did the rental car break down? I would call your agent to ask. My insurance does pay for a car, but I paid extra for it. It was $4 per year.

Its our personal car that broke down and towed tonight to shop. Are you saying you paid extra and get rental coverage for car when your car is in shop for mechanical issues?
