Need help with a gift idea
My mom has provided me with free child care for the past decade. Now all my kids are in school and she sees herself as done and is depressed about it. I don't know why because my kids are insane but that's another post. LOL
I want to give her a thank you gift. Something special. She's not into spas. She loves to travel but she can't right now as my grandmother is very sick so she can't go far.
I was thinking of making an album of all that she did with the boys over the years but I also wanted to do something nice.
Any ideas?

Does she like shopping? Maybe a shopping spree to her favorite store.
Maybe a bunch of different gift cards for restaurants so she won't have to cook.
Day trips maybe to a winery or something else she enjoys to do without taking her away for very long.

I know you said she isn't into spas but does she get her nails and/or hair done?
Maybe a gift card to her salon?
Or to a nice restaurant that she likes?

In the album maybe have your kids write her a letter about what she means to them or their favorite memory. Also include what they are looking forward to doing with her now that they are bigger.
Might make her feel like she is still needed seeing their words. Because Grandmas are always needed!
