Sarasota, FL
DH and I are going to Sarasota (Lido Key) in early October. Any recommendations for things to do, restaurants, etc? It's the first tie we're going away without kids since we got married 15 years ago! TIA!

Sarasota is beautiful. It's more of an older, snowbird crowd, less of a tourist area. It's very low key and beautiful. St Armand's Circle has shops, restaurants, ice cream, etc. Walk around there and explore. There's Mote Aquarium.
Siesta Key has beautiful beaches, so take a day to drive down there.
As for restaurants...We like The Old Salty Dog for a quick lunch on the water. Dry Dock is delicious and has a nice atmosphere. Definitely check out Euphemia Haye (weird name, yes) for a romantic night out. You will not regret it! Mar Vista is good, too.
