Prizes for everyone? Need opinions!
Having a birthday party for my daughter . One of the activities is a trivia contest - will split guests up into two or four teams. Do I give prizes to the winning team only or to everyone because they are 8-12 years old and will be bummed if they don’t get a prize ?

Prizes for the winners. Are you having favors for all the kids attending as well? That should be more than enough. Have fun!

For 8-12, I would give to just the winners. Otherwise, but trying to not make the losers bummed by not getting a prize, you'll make the winners bummed by technically not "winning", and getting the same prize as the losers.

Just give to the winners but split in to 4 teams. If you split in to only two teams then half the kids win and half the kids lose. I think it's better if the majority of the kids are losers instead of a 50/50 split.

Thanks everyone! With your advice, I decided to do three groups so we can have 1st , 2nd and 3rd place. Only t he first page team will get a prize. Everyone will get a favor!
