Favorite cookie recipe?
I know there are old threads on this but I thought maybe there were some new ideas. Maybe taste buds have changed or some incredibly new delicious discovery has been made. But I'll take some old tried and true also! Do share!

i love, love, love the idea of making all sorts of cookies for christmas... and i love, love, love making things from scratch... but don't always have the strength of will to make them all at this time of year
so...
i cheat at christmas time
i make a lot of different cake mix cookies.
there are a lot of different recipes online, but the main idea is you take a box of cake mix, 2 eggs, 1/2 cup oil, and the add-ins that you want/like.
i already bought all my cake mixes and will be baking next weekend.
this year, i'm making:
* chocolate crinkle
* sugar
* snickerdoodle
* salted cashew with chocolate chips
* almond sprinkle
* cookies and cream
