"Covid Arm"

Just was curious if anyone had "Covid arm" after getting a covid vaccine? If so how long did it take for it to go away?

I got my booster on Thursday (Pfizer) and the next day I developed a rash pretty much the size of a grapefruit and it is tender and itchy. I also have swollen lymph nodes in my armpit. I was hoping that it would go away in a few days time, but the rash is still there and is not getting any better. I can't even go to an urgent care because most are overwhelmed with people looking for covid tests. I asked a pharmacist and she said to check with my doctor (which I am going to call tomorrow and hope I can get an appointment) In the meantime, I figured I would ask to see if anyone here experienced this.

I didn’t have a rash but I got swollen lymph nodes in my armpit after the second dose and after the booster. They lasted maybe 5-7 days. I hope you feel better!

Re: "Covid Arm"

I did not develop a rash but did have swollen lymph nodes under my arm that were painful at times. It lasted about 10 days. It wasn't as bad after dose #2. And I had a mammogram about 6 weeks later and that was fine in that getting the vaccine didn't cause any imaging issues/false positives.

Honestly, at the place I go to get tested, one of the symptoms on their sign for Covid is a rash.

I did. Went away after about 5 days. I did have a bit of a rash, but mostly the swollen armpit area and tenderness was my biggest issue. Only after the booster, did not have either after first or second dose.

Thanks, yes I was fine with my first two doses as well. Only the booster has caused the reaction. And I've been reading its more common to happen for Moderna but I got Pfizer. Just hope it goes away soon!

Re: "Covid Arm"

A family member had this with the booster (Pfizer) recently. For them it lasted about 4 days. Hope it improves for you soon.
