Actually, it can 100% be a contributing factor for an untimely death such as his. Even if he hadn't used drugs in years it doesn't mean there wasn't significant damage to his organs, body and overall health from being a coke addict at one time. There are long term health effects when it comes to drug abuse, alcohol abuse, smoking, etc. Just because you stop the behavior doesn't mean the damage is erased.

She specifically said doing Coke ONE TIME. Doing Coke one time is not going to cause you to have a heart attack 20 years later. Not to mention her rolling on the floor laughing emojis when posting about two people who died. She’s an idiot.
No, she didn't say that. Reread. She said he was "a huge coke addict at one time", that's not the same as saying he did it "one time".
Fact is, if he was an addict for any length of time I'm sure his long term health suffered in some capacity because of it.

She is implying he might have done Coke. She’s not inferring that it’s from organ damage caused by cocaine use a long time ago.
Again, she specifically said he was a self admitted coke addict at one time. I'm sure that likely contributed to his untimely death. She was simply making the point that drug use can cause ill health effects even from one use, let alone long term abuse. I didn't read it as she thought he used coke this once and dropped dead. Whatever.

Not "they". I'm simply responding to one posters comments. I don't know anything about Saget other than he was on Full House. Not familiar with that show nor do I know (or care) if he was a coke addict. But IF he was, no doubt it caused health issues.
Guess we'll know more in a few weeks when they release info.

He talked about it quite a bit on the Nerdist podcast with Chris Hardwick years ago. Apparently - back in the day, Chris and Bob used to be party buddies and hung out A LOT. Chris has been sober now for over 20 years, but I'm not sure about Bob's sobriety.

I actually think so too. A lot of people have used drugs recreationally. It doesn’t make them a drug addict. I think he jokes a lot in his comedy about his past drug use but I don’t think he was ever in rehab or anything of that nature. I could be wrong but either way I don’t think he has long term drug use that would have resulted in his untimely death. But then again, I’m not an ME.

He talked about recreational drug use or about being addicted to cocaine? I’m genuinely curious. I am seeing a lot about references to past drug use but not anything about addiction and rehab.

There aren’t that many things that would suddenly kill an otherwise healthy 65 year old man, so I am guessing it was a heart attack. Probably brought on by his years of illicit drug use.

I thought so too but they said he was found laying on his back with his left hand over his chest and his right hand on the bed next to him. I would think (and only my thought) if you were having a heart attack your hand with go to your heart
