Random Tip Question - If you have ever had a car "delivered"?
So it's been quite the long wait to get our new lease with all the shortages. We finally found the car we want and it's at a dealer about 2 hours away. Someone from the dealership is driving it to us. How much would you tip the person who drives the car to you? Thank you in advance!

Interesting. I’ve never heard of this before. Is the person driving it to u because the dealership is far from u?

I have not heard of that, but I think $50 would be good, if you would like to tip.

Probably $50 but how is the person getting home after they drop it off? That's going to be a long walk!!

Someone else goes with them to get that person back to the dealership.

Re: Random Tip Question - If you have ever had a car "delivered"?
Thanks ladies! Yes, they are delivering it free of charge actually because the dealership is 2 hours away. We had a hard time getting the car we wanted because of the shortages and when the dealer had one in stock we jumped on it as we have extended our last lease to the max lol!
I went with $100. Since were two of them (they came in two cars) and they stayed about another 1.5 hours for the paperwork and to show us all the features etc. Since we didn't have to pay for delivery I felt like it was worth it!
