I just got another call for the second weekend in a row that my son had close contact in his 8th grade class. It’s spreading like wild fire at the school now. I’m sending his butt to school like I did last week. See if they say anything to me.
He had Covid end of December, so I’m lying and saying he got it in January because it’s stupid that he is suppose to quarantine just because he isn’t vaccinated. EVEN though everyone who has gotten Covid in his school are all vaccinated. Make it make sense!!
That is crazy they are still calling you! And yes, since he had Covid, likely Omicron, it's silly that he will have to quarantine again.
It so silly at this point. I am going to ignore it and play dumb.

I cannot believe they are still contact tracing in your school. Do they plan to do that forever?
Seems like it. It’s a small catholic school, so it’s not hard. There’s only two eighth grade classes and people notify the school when they get Covid. I just have to get him through two more months. My niece goes to the public middle school and they aren’t contact tracing or making kids quarantine. He is going to the public HS in our town next year.

Ugh - I have to tell the school as well - but other than reporting it to the state as a number, nothing else is done.
Only a few more months!!!

Yeah that’s what it seems to be now even though we all had to wear masks places where that wasn’t happening.
I was actually being sarcastic because the White House seems to have their own rules.
