easter spinoff - parties in small spaces

the thread asking about easter dinner got me to day dreaming of hosting easter brunch again and how i can fit all my crazy relatives into my new home.

and as we all know, trains of thought can go into funny/strange locations lol

i found myself thinking of space saving options. this reminded me of a NYC apartment dweller space saver for parties... you fill your top loading washing machine with ice and put all the drinks in there.
i mentioned this to my boss and he thought i was from another planet. he had never heard of such a thing.

just a little funny that i thought i'd share.
it gave me a good chuckle about how life is so different in southern california.

You can do it, I am sure. My house is only 1,000 sq ft and I have had 50 people for parties. Granted I do have a backyard that people will use and sometimes they will hang out in the front but if there is a will, there is a way lol.

We have a football party every year and people are sitting and standing all over the place, eating and drinking and come back year after year so no one is turned off by the small space

Wait. Your NYC apartment had a washer IN IT?

I don’t think there is anything wrong with cozy spaces. My own house it’s the very big. If people want to be there, they’ll be there even in they’re smooshed.
