Starlight Coca-Cola
Has anyone tried the new "Starlight" Coke?

DW just picked up a couple of cans.
According to the can, it's "Space Flavored"...  
I'm not sure what it tastes like, but then again, I've never tasted "Space", so maybe that *is* what it tastes like.

According to the official press release, Starlight Coca-Cola “includes additional notes reminiscent of stargazing around a campfire, as well as a cooling sensation that evokes the feeling of a cold journey to space.”
There's some vanilla notes in there. Maybe some Cherry Coke essence.

Yes I have tried it and I usually don't drink much soda but I didn't care for it and thought it was weird.

I do think it does taste like cotton candy like someone mentioned...but not in a good way! Ha

I just tried it today (because of this thread.)
I thought it tasted very bland. No cola flavor, and not very sweet at all. A very slight vanilla flavor.
My husband thinks everything is too sweet & he didn't think it was sweet either.
I had the full sugar version, in a plastic 20 oz bottle if that makes a difference. I poured it into a glass, but didn't add ice. I have the Coke zero version that I will try tomorrow.

I actually did buy this because I liked the can. I am such a sucker for good marketing. I have not drank it yet. I will have to ask my kids.

I liked it a lot! I expected it to be sweeter but it tasted like a softer version of regular coke. I'll def get it again.
